Translation Services Procedures

Lexington City Schools employs a translator to provide translation/interpretation services for EL and other students as needed.  Any school personnel or parent, including parents of EL students, enrollment personnel or the ESL teacher may request the use of the translator by contacting the translator at 731-968-8457.  

In the event the language is something other than the language(s) spoken by the translator, translation technologies with be used.  Specifically, Google Translate would be employed.
