Lexington Utilities: Boil Water Notice

01/27/2024
The Boil Water Notice has been lifted for the entire Lexington Utilities Water System.

01/26/2024
The Boil Water Notice for the East portion of our water system has been lifted.
THE BOIL WATER NOTICE IS STILL IN EFFECT FOR LEXINGTON UTILITIES WATER CUSTOMERS WHO HAVE HAD LOW TO NO WATER PRESSURE IN THE SOUTHERN PORTION OF OUR SYSTEM.

01/19/2024
Lexington Utilities customers located in the Southern and Eastern portion of Henderson County, who have experienced low to no water pressure, are under a boil water notice effective immediately.

Due to the systemwide loss of water pressure, customers who live in the southern and eastern portion of the county are asked to boil water meant for human consumption. Please boil your water for three minutes at 160 degrees. Please allow water to cool before using.
If you currently do not have water and are located in the affected area, we ask that you boil water when your water service is restored. This is a precautionary measure and will be in effect until further notce.

We will notify customers after samples are collected and tested.

Thank you for your continuous cooperation.
