Here at the Lexington City School System, our staff works tirelessly to ensure we meet the needs of all children! It is truly a unique place to be and we cannot wait to meet or welcome back your young people! The 2023-24 school year will be busy but rewarding, and we hope you will come be a part of it!
We have invested a lot of training, time, money, and efforts into securing our facilities to keep our young folks safe! Safety measures are not always convenient but they have been implemented with the best intentions!
Personally, I am beginning my 35th year in education! I have served as teacher, assistant principal, principal, and now as Superintendent. While a challenge at times, it has been rewarding! I am married to Bobby Olive and we have two children. Madison, 33, lives in Hendersonville with her hubby Nic and our two granddaughters, Miller (3) and Bennett (8 months). Our son Peyton, 28, recently moved home and works at FedEx in Jackson. My husband Bobby and I have been married for 35 years. He has recently retired after 39 years with FedEx.
I am very excited for this new school year! The teachers and staff here are some of the hardest working people I have ever had the privilege of working with!
