Kelly Morris serves the system as the English Language Learner (ELL) teacher. She graduated from Austin Peay State University with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1991, and then later added an additional endorsement for ELL from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
Kelly has been in education for 29 years. Kelly began her career teaching third grade at Lakeview Elementary School in New Johnsonville. She continued teaching third graders when she moved to Lexington City School System in 2003. The past 6 years, Kelly has been working specifically with the ELL students of Lexington City School System. She focuses on helping these students gain English proficiency in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. Kelly especially enjoys building relationships with these students and their families.
Kelly is married to Stephen Morris, and they raise cattle on their farm in Huron. She also has one daughter, Ashley, who is a Radiologic Technologist in Paris, Tennessee.
