Courtney Bestwina is the principal at Caywood Elementary School and loves helping students build self-confidence and the skills they will need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In her previous role, she served as assistant principal at Lexington Middle School, gaining experiences in areas such as trauma-informed practices, instructional leadership, and school administration. While being a principal is her primary job function by day, Mrs. Bestwina also enjoys spending time camping with her husband and two children, practicing yoga, and reading psychological thriller books.
