 The mission of Paul G. Caywood Elementary School is for each child in PreK-5th grade to achieve success and enhance their future learning.

  2000-Present     Employed as a Kindergarten, self-contained teacher with the responsibilities for all  general subjects.                                       The classroom is designed to meet students’ diversified needs through use of differentiated instruction.

 

 1999-2000                   Employed as a transitional first, self-contained teacher with the responsibilities for all general subjects. 

 

1998-1999                   Employed as a substitute teacher for regularly assigned employees who are on sick, professional, or personal leave.

The Academy of Teaching and Learning Training  - conducted by education professionals from “The Institute for School Leaders,” a partnership of Tennessee Department of Education, Peabody College of Vanderbilt University and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS

 Ronald McDonald House – Kindergarten students collected pull-tabs for the Ronald House in Nashville, TN. 

Lexington Civic League Member– “To be, not to seem.”  The purposes of this organization are to promote civic welfare; to unite the citizens of Lexington in a bond of friendship, cooperation, and mutual understanding; to promote better educational, recreational, and cultural advantages for the youth of our town.

Hope Ministries – Assisted in donating gifts, food, and financial resources to help Henderson County families.
