Courtney Bestwina moved to Henderson County in 1995.  She is a graduate of Lexington High School.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in English literature from Vanderbilt University and Masters of Art in Education from Union University.  Mrs. B, as she is known by students, has been a part of the Lexington City School System since 2013. Prior to becoming assistant principal, she taught 6th and 7th grade English Language Arts.
